Position Title:            Electronics/Robotics Technology (Mechatronics) Instructor

Qualifications:           Must hold proper state CTE certification

 

NOTE: A Temporary CTE Teacher Certification can be obtained while performing the duties of the position with proof of appropriate occupationally related experience. Appropriate CTE instructor coursework must be taken in conjunction with earning a temporary CTE certification.

Terms of Employment: 183 days with benefits provided according to the contract for Employment.



Essential Job Functions:
Nichols Career Center is currently accepting applications for an energetic teacher with innovative ideas for the 2024-25 school year.  Certification for the position is based on occupational experience and/or educational background.  Additional coursework will be required for individuals with occupational experience only.  

 

Duties include teaching courses in the Electronics-Robotics Technology (Mechatronics) program with emphasis in: Digital and analog electronics and robotics, mechanical and electronic devices and troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers, quality control, 3D printing, and AutoCad.  It is important that this instructor has the ability to plan and design instruction based on real world  applications.  This is a nine month position.
